Project Manager (Electrical)

Job Description

The Project Manager is responsible in making decisions that ensure the quality and timeliness of construction deliverables by overseeing onsite operations teams, vendors, subcontractors and clients.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assisting the Senior Project Manager in managing project engineering of electrical systems including planning and defining project scope, goals and deliverables
  • Developing project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resources allocation
  • Work together with Senior Project Manager to ensure project progress meet project submission, project schedule including coordinating activities and resolving problems
  • Managing the work activities and performance of the subcontractors, supervisors and workers and liaise with clients, relevant authorities and consultants to resolve bottlenecks
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
  • Communicating project status updates to stakeholders, including clients, management and team member
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues
  • Maintain quality standards, carry out site inspections and resolve technical issues on time
  • Prepare and update all site reports, monitor and report progress of project
  • Conduct safety compliance and risk assessment

Job Requirements

  • Min. 10 years of experience in Electrical works
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and regulations
  • Knowledge of project management software and tools
  • Experience with electrical works, Low Voltage (LV) switchgear, distribution board, cable selection, electrical single line drawing, cable containment system, lighting fixtures
  • Good knowledge in AutoCAD drawings
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage teams and stakeholders
  • Analytical and problem-skills to identify and mitigate project risks and issues
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate project documentation
