Senior Project Manager (Electrical)

Job Description

The Senior Project Manager overseeing the planning, design, and implementation of electrical projects. This include managing project timelines, budgets, and resources, as well as ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Job Responsibilities

  • Leading and managing a team of electrical engineers and technicians to ensure successful completion of projects within budget and on time
  • Developing project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitoring progress against these plans
  • Coordinating with other departments and stakeholders to ensure the project requirements are met
  • Conducting risk assessments and developing risk mitigation strategies
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
  • Identifying and resolving project issues and conflicts
  • Communicating project status and progress to stakeholders, including senior management, clients, and contractors
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders
  • Participating in the development of new business opportunities and proposals
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and best practices

Job Requirements

  • Min. 12 years of experience in Electrical works
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, codes, and standards
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools
  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies, tools and techniques
  • Familiarity with electrical engineering principles, practices, and standards
  • Experience in budgeting, scheduling, and resource management
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate project documentation
