Job Description
The Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing air conditioning systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
Job Responsibilities
- Installing the air conditioning unit, ductwork, and electrical wiring
- Performing routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning the unit, replacing filters, and checking for leaks
- Diagnosing and repairing any issues with the air conditioning system, such as the malfunctioning compressor or refrigerant leak
- Feasibility pre-installation design proposal as well as installation works
- Chemical cleaning and overhaul cleaning
- Communicating with customers to understand their needs and providing them with information about the air conditioning system
- Maintaining accurate records of all work performed on air conditioning systems, including maintenance and repair tasks
- Following safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe working environment
- Keeping up-to-date with new technologies and techniques in the field of maintenance and repair
- Any other tasks or duties assigned by the Company
Job Requirements
- Min. 2 years of related work experience
- NITEC or equivalent
- Physically fit and able to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems and be able to diagnose and repair issues with air conditioning units
- Experience with split unit or VRV servicing
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Able to work independently and a team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
